Welcome to LifeMed Clinic. By accessing this website and booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please review them carefully.

1. No Medical Advice

The content on this website, including text, graphics, and images, is for informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

2. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

By participating in our community events or clinical services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Physical Activity (Jump Rope/Exercise): You certify that you are physically capable of participating in cardiovascular exercise. You assume all risks associated with physical activity, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, and injuries.

  • Food & Allergies (Lifestyle Support Group): Our gatherings often involve shared plant-based meals. LifeMed Clinic does not guarantee the absence of allergens (e.g., nuts, gluten, soy) in communal dishes. Participants consume shared food at their own risk.

  • Massage Therapy: It is your responsibility to inform your therapist of any pre-existing conditions, injuries, or discomfort during the session.

3. Appointment & Cancellation Policy

To respect the time of our practitioners and other patients, we require 24 hours' notice for any massage or clinical appointment cancellations. Failure to provide notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the service cost.

4. Community Conduct

We strive to create a "warm and welcoming space." LifeMed Clinic reserves the right to remove or ban any individual from community events (Wednesday Jump Rope, Tuesday Support Group) who engages in disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior.

5. Limitation of Liability

LifeMed Clinic, its employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or participation in our events. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service rendered.

6. Privacy & Data

Your use of this site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Any health information shared during clinical appointments is protected under applicable HIPAA regulations; however, information shared in public "Support Groups" or "Jump Rope" sessions is not considered confidential.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the site or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Welcome to LifeMed Clinic. By using this website, booking a massage, or joining our community events, you agree to the following terms.

1. Healthcare & Massage Services

  • Not a Medical Substitute: While we provide clinical services, the information on this website is for educational purposes. Massage therapy is a wellness tool and does not replace the advice of a primary care physician.

  • Health Disclosure: For your safety, you must disclose all known physical conditions, allergies, and medications to your massage therapist. You agree to update the clinic if your health status changes.

  • Right of Refusal: Our therapists reserve the right to refuse or terminate a session if they deem it unsafe for the patient or if the patient’s behavior is inappropriate.

2. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

By engaging in our services, you voluntarily assume all risks. LifeMed Clinic is not liable for:

  • Massage Therapy: Standard soreness or reactions following therapeutic bodywork.

  • Physical Activity (Jump Rope): Any injuries, cardiovascular strain, or accidents occurring during our Wednesday exercise sessions.

  • Food & Allergies (Support Group): Allergic reactions or illnesses resulting from communal, plant-based meals provided at our events. Participants are responsible for verifying ingredients.

3. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations

  • The "24-Hour Rule": To respect our therapists' schedules, massage appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Fees: Late cancellations or "no-shows" may be charged the full cost of the scheduled service.

  • Event Fees: Fees for the Lifestyle Support Group ($5) or other community events are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by LifeMed Clinic.

4. Professional Conduct & Safety

LifeMed Clinic is a place of healing and respect.

  • Zero Tolerance: We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment. Any inappropriate comments or actions during a massage or community event will result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.

  • Minors: Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for all events and clinical services.

5. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Clinical Privacy: Your medical records and massage intake forms are kept strictly confidential in accordance with healthcare privacy standards.

  • Public Events: Please be aware that confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in group settings like the Lifestyle Support Group or Wednesday Jump Rope. Information shared in these groups is public.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall LifeMed Clinic or its staff be liable for any damages exceeding the total amount paid by you to the clinic in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hamilton County, TN.
